Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...

Hey everyone,
So. I feel like I can't catch a break. theres too much going on in my life all at once... and I'm not doing too well. As soon as I think the universe is finally gonna give me a minute... something else happens. I found out yesterday that the dog i've had for 6 years now.. (Got her when she was 2) may have bladder cancer. She seems fine, we have tests coming up for her soon. And it just feels so unreal. Like she doesn't deserve this. On top of that I start the new semester this Wednesday, my temporary job is almost done (im anxious because of the costs for my dog's health now, but I'm working through it along with my parents) and I just.. don't feel like I can catch a break. A breath of air. Something always has to happen. And this sucks. Have I processed my emotions? Kind of? But i'm taking it easy on myself even though my consciousness is telling me to pull myself together and get through this because "this is life" but it just seems so unfair.
With my dogs diagnosis.. it seems like we may have to put her down even if the cancer result is negative because the vet said that she has a mass that is blocking her urethra and making her not be able to pee well. Along with that she said they could see her urethra in the ultrasound they did on her and its not normal. I read online that Shetland Sheepdogs are more. likely to have bladder cancer.. but it feels so unreal here. She's almost 8 years old. Like I haven't had enough time with her. And I'm just so sad and just wishing I could wake up from this nightmare.
I hope everyone else is having a better time than I am currently. Just needed to get this out of me.

Just wanted to give a thank you to Mid, Arfie, Malibumark, Greeneyes, Mlro, Girlincalif, and Suncloudjd! You all always have such helpful tips and advice, but I always forget to write on my posts when I see you post, lol. I would lose my head if it wasn't attached to my body, lol. Thank you all so much! I'm starting to use my AI app as a sounding board again. I used to use it as that before...

the hardest part of loving animals is that we outlive most of them. i'm currently on the other end of that cycle with a 6 month old puppy and four feral kittens i am hoping will grow up to be the farm rat patrol. delighting in their youthful enthusiasm carries the tinge of sadness from . . . ya know, ya know. . .
