Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. My brain is on total overload. I already deal with.Bipolar and anxiety. And with all of the constant horror stories of Ebola, Isis, the latest terrorist attacks in NYC and Canada. It is getting to me. It's not like I am sitting here going over and over something that happened last week. It is becoming DAILY horrific news..it is too much. I am thinking I maybe need to go off the grid news-wise, but then I think I shouldn't because I need to be informed....but then I think "informed at what cost....my sanity"??? I am trying to keep my eyes firmly on The Lord. But I keep letting these horrible things chip away at my faith. Is anyone else having this experience???

Hold on to that faith. It is not God that is causing all of this chaos, for me, it's free will that the world has been given. As for the horrible news, I watched it as well today and I have never, I don't think, heard such horrific news as I did today, all at one time. One disaster after another. The world is going to hell in a hand basket and I can understand your fears and frustrations. You are not alone in your anxiety. Hugs GB

I'm with you! I work in a hospital and there was a big meeting on Ebola....I had to leave with a panic attack. It is so embarrassing...and the news doesn't help. I haven't watched it in days because I just can't handle it. My mom is currently in the hospital and will come home (my house) and I am terrified. If it weren't for faith, I wouldn't have made it through this at all. I used to get so worked up, I would cause anxiety in my kids. I try to maintain a level of calm for them but sometimes it makes it worse on the inside for me.. You are definitely not alone.

i believe that is our problem with anxiety. altho it seems like a small focus for the average person we with anxiety exaggerate the whole experience. there is nothing we can do except pray. god will protect us. let us remember each other in our prayers to slow down but also protection from the terrorism. that seems to me is all we can do.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
