Sending hugs and good thoughts as you embark on your dream.
I think we all understand. Anxiety really is a pain. I like the strategy you are using. The book on depression I am going through tells me the same thing. Recognize your feelings and thoughts, but then let them go. Do not dwell on them. Well, I haven't been able to so far. I am supposed to visualize them being put on a train and just letting them drift off. My train apparently goes in circles : )
Good luck!
I think maybe the letting go of the feelings and thoughts is probably the hard part right now. It's hard not to hold on to them once I feel them. I like the strategy that you shared though of imagining them going away on a train. I should try to do something like that. I also requested some yoga for anxiety and stress relief DVDs from the library, so I'm going to give those a try once they come in to see if that helps me some. Thank you for the advice and support :)
