Can anyone relate to this, I have been feeling a tightness on my chest and something like shocks mainly on my left side even around the edges of my breast. I wake up in the middle of the night, twice. I'm a strong believer of God and I hope this is just a test of faith and that son this will pass. I can't imagine to be like this for more time. I want to be able to be my old self again or better. Feeling on edge all the time and having a these weird emotions makes me appreciate life better, but i want to be able and enjoy it. I am currently on lorazepam and prozac but i only take lorazepam as needed but to be honest i haven't taken it only twice and prozac its barely been a week and i feel the same. If you are reading this and feels the same way as me pls reach out its nice to know that there is always someone who understands you or what you are going through,

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.

Sorry to hear you are experiencing these feelings at the moment. Have you spoken to your doctor about these physical symptoms or talking to a therapist at all? I think some professional advice might be a good idea, but additionally I find that breathing exercises help. One that I was taught is to breathe in for 3 hold for 3 and breathe out for 3 breathing in through the nose and out through the mouth. I found the breathing and counting really calming, and also found baths and showers were comforting, also herbal teas, lavender oil on my pillow and gentle stretching. I found when I went on Prozac it does take a while to start working, do you have much info on or have you spoken to anyone about your medications?
As you believe in god, maybe when you wake up in the night you could say a quiet prayer, or write how you are feeling down, listen to some music or read?
I have also found exercise during the day such as walking or yoga really beneficial when dealing with waking up in the night.
I hope something here helps, sending you warm healing thoughts, you can get through this!
take care, Ophelia
Here's the little I've learned from my own sometimes-unhappy experiences : Once one has anxiety, just about *anything* can get distorted. How about one version of hypochondriac? I've heard that word explained and it seemed to me . Well anxiety can make a person imagine things.

I am a strong believer in the divine as well and anxiety will test one's faith to extreme. You can continue to progress with your faith or take a step back from it. When I began my battle with anxiety I would have these scary thoughts "what if what if what if" but these scary thoughts are from my everyday stresses including family friends and work etc. Why would a person with such a strong faith have these problems the answer is God is testing us. He is always there to pray to and if needed with help. I go to church every sunday and learn new things I never new about myself. The thing that you have to do is begin to journal your everyday stresses and write down your negative thoughts then with this counter it with a more positive thought.
NEGATIVE- What if I can't get over anxiety?
POSTIVE -What if I learn the tool to help me understand anxiety and learn to conquer them and with that I CAN help other people learn the tools i did to overcome them
These physical symptoms that you are having could be related to stress/anxiety I would look at Adventureguides 12 week program to help.
just remember To have setbacks you must've made progression.. don't ever give up for this will make you a better person and a stronger believer
God bless, Jared
