This woman works 3rd shift, so she's responsible for giving us our early AM meds and giving us breakfast, including making coffee. She's supposed to give us a wakeup call at 6 AM but she never does. One time I overslept by an hour because she didn't do her job. So every time I know she'll be working I can't sleep the night before, I'm so anxious. I'm scared she won't give me my meds like she's supposed to and that she won't make us coffee--this actually did happen one time. She's alone on that shift. No one else comes in until 7 AM. I try to be super polite to her when I ask her for my meds and some coffee. Generally she complies when I do that, but something about her still scares me, like she hates her job that much. I wish she'd just quit but it doesn't look like that's going to happen. Meantime I'm trying to find ways to be able to sleep the night before so she doesn't scare me so much. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.

if thats something you dont want to do, perhaps try to engage with her, she also human perhaps going through some stuff as well. Sometimes its about perspective on how we see things.. and a shift in how we think about the situation can help you feel more confident.
wishing you the best! plus its nice for her to treat you that way. you have a right too, even if she is going through something she shouldnt take it out on anyone
There is someone in charge of the facility who can get this taken care of for you.
Best wishes!
I have been through this assisted living thing with my MiL and I can assure you that they do NOT want to lose you. Money is the bottom line for them.
Wishing you the best.
