Hope is essential to our survival, especially when we are fighting through anxiety. The question is - where do you find hope?
1. Where does it originate from?
2. Where does it guide you?
3. How do you recognize it?
4. Does it need replenishing?
These are all essential to the process and a great thing you have discovered!!!

I really believe you will be able to do all these things on your own and become more and more independent.
I tried to show my sons things before they left home so they had a better idea on how to do things. because when I left home I had no clue. I didn't know about bank accounts and ATM's and things like that.
I have to say I have done many things 'in fear' but have still done them. Just like you things like getting a new i.d or dealing with forms and bills and things like that.
I moved to another country and I had to find out a lot of things through trial and error and the anxiety over things was high and looking back I think how much energy wasted on worry and anxiety.
If it is something new I have gotten a lot better at saying to the person, " I haven't done this before can you help me?" and ask questions.
Asking questions is major because so often the other person may presume. there is a lot of presumption and assumption going on in society. and people very often assume and presume that you have done something a million times before and don't have an idea that perhaps you have never done something before and sometimes are surprised when you tell them that you haven't but they are willing to help.
Recently someone asked me for help and I was able to show them how to use the ATM machine. I knew exactly how it felt not knowing how to do something and I was so happy to help them. And I would hope that most people are wanting to help
US if we are unsure or nervous about something.
Hope is a good thing to hang on to and confidence in yourself grows with each new success.
All the best
