Hello,
So I am usually a very tense person due to my anxiety. People tell me all the time to just relax and go with the flow, but I can't. When I had to switch doctors due to insurance my psychiatrist took away my anxiety medication. He told me I have no anxiety, although I find myself having trouble breathing, shaking, crying, and feeling like I've lost all control. I do this often. Especially when I am planning things such as meet ups with friends. I send a million texts and panic if they don't reply right away.
Right now I am planning on meeting with a woman who is giving me her two pet rats and their cage. We are meeting tomorrow and I'm so nervous. I don't want to bombard her with messages and scare her away, but I MUST have every detail perfectly planned or I fall apart. That's probably also because I have serious control issues. Control issues and anxiety are not a fun mix.
But so I don't know when or where we are meeting yet. We met through a rat group on Facebook. I am going with my dad to be safe. I'm excited and anxious at the same time. I haven't even been to sleep yet. I'm literally stressing out over this like I stress out about everything else.
I am also stressing out over my new glasses coming in the mail. I think about them and I can't breathe. This just makes living so difficult. Everything is a stressor.
I just needed to vent. I'm sorry. Thank you for reading.

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.
But I want to call this lady a million times, send countless text, and cry because I feel I have no control in the situation. She is so nice enough she is giving me a multilevel cage too and that makes me excited, though the more excited I am the more worried I get.
I hope everything works out for you. I know that it is hard going to work with anxiety. But you can get through it. I have faith in you.
Sometimes, new doctors see a different view of us, and change the medication to see what exact symptoms we are currently coping with. I've been through several different doctors, and after a couple of mishaps, I'm a lot more diligent about how I approach discussing my symptoms.
This "action alleviates anxiety" saying that I use to help me decide right then of something is making it easier to move toward the choices in the moment.
When you are focused on future, you miss out on today, when you focus on the past, you miss out on today...with today open to adventure, excitement, and motion, be in the moment today.
Best wishes.
