Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...

i almost had big sis (8) signed up for voice coaching. she loves to sing with a truly remarkable vocal range. i joined the coach's website several weeks ago and thought we had it wired. sigh. . . she needs us on another app for the usual list of reasons and i find myself in full rebellion. the parenting by app has been one of the tougher parts of this second parenting career and i am not overly impressed with the results i am seeing. parents seem to be spending more time with their virtual lives than real time developments. the app exchanges are whelming for their sheer quantity. every adult in the app race seems to have **important** virtual details to add to the real time interruptions. a break from the parental app race is feeling like a necessity for this burnt-out old tech burnout.
just venting. . . yeah, yeah, i'm sure there's a mindslide of apps for that, too. spare me, please.
i'm leaving the mood icon squarely on "okay." it's as irritating as a picnic atop a fire ant pile, but life is full of irritations. shake out the blanket, move to a less infested spot and let the good times roll.

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.
I feel your pain, arfie!
more and more, i find myself walking away from real life connections that require apps and/or memberships. i don't feel any more connected to virtual realities than i did to my to my television and old world paper phone book.
and here comes the big buttttttttttttaaaaaaaaaa. . . i still adore having the world's libraries at my fingertips and machine translators to help me access ALL of them.
