Team Americas (From Canada to Argentina)

I still don't care to join the debate on who has the smartest two pennies on the Twitter Feed, but there is less and less doubt in my mind that a historically unprecedented crisis has hit the globe.


Expert I ain't, but a whisper through my psychotic fog wonders if this would be a perfect time to see if we can pull it together and form Tony Brown's (NPR Commentator) dream of Team America. ^It^ ain't about liking each other. ^It^ is about getting toughs job done.


Just wondering. . . Thoughts and reality checks welcome.

People actually drive that entire route. We met a few Germans who had their military type vehicles shipped over to Alaska, so they could drive the entire route. From Alaska to the tip of South America. Its an ancient trading route .

It is a legendary route, Deckard. The chains of mountains which begin in the North Pole and go underwater at the tip of Argentina have drawn considerable attention among the Global Warming factions for global air monitoring.

Then we get to all the amazing geology surrounding that natural wonder. I haven't done the entire route, but it's on my bucket list with the proviso that I can skip both snow seasons in that 6,000 mile sojourn. I'm tough, but that cold still discomforts me considerable.

Yes, Loo, that song does indeed come to mind. Enough so that I wonder which of those great men inspired the other. Mutual inspiration is possible, as well. Tony's spiel on Team America was far more pragmatic than John's beautiful song but both men seem to agree that contrast can be a good thing.

    I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying.  I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there.  I think that I will start writing in it again.  It's so therapeutic.
