General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...

The best antidepressant is when my wishes are honored. An example, the faucet in my apartment was running although the knobs were turned shut all the way, and one of the pulling strings on my ceiling fan came off. As soon as I notified my maintenance man, he was quick to reply with the work order. RAPID response... he's getting my services around my apartment done. I appreciate my landlord and...

Hello,so I'm currently in a weird relationship with my long distance ex who I've never met in person and it's taking a toll on me. I've lost 15 pounds and lost my appetite, but I'm really attached to him. We've had a lot of problems and I think that has caused me to gain severe anxiety. I don't know if I should wait until it gets better or what. Everytime I've blocked him, it has tend to make me...

Maybe tomorrow will be ok for you to go and do that stuff. Be kind to yourself. It will happen.
courage darling. Courage. You will get through this and be stronger for it! keep reaching out and know it will be okay, your not alone
As for going out- first take a really, really short trip. A short walk in your neighborhood or a park, a close store to pick up one thing, even just get in your car and drive around a block or two with the window open. Start with baby steps to remind yourself that you can do it. Because you can. You will survive and not go "crazy" while out. You may feel uncomfortable, but that's just us. You aren't alone. I'm here for you as are all these other awesome people.
My husband and I love to travel and we had many opportunities to go on a cruise but I had fear of riding on any kind of water transportation. I had this fear since I was in elementary years. Just last year when we decided to go on a trip and it involves riding on a boat. I was so nervous but I wanted to try if I was ready. I thought I was OK but the moment I stepped on the boat I was shaking and wanted to scream. Praying and singing worship songs had helped me to calm down. It was difficult but thank God after few minutes, my worries and fears subsided.
I understand the emotions of going through anxiety and I’m sorry you are going through this. Though it’s challenging, try taking baby steps. It’s going to be hard but be gentle with yourself. It took me years before I overcome my anxiety, I pray that you will get through this too. Hang in there. Please keep us posted. God bless.
Would you be willing to talk to someone who you trust about how you're feeling? I have found in dealing with my own anxiety that talking with others about it is incredibly helpful. They may be able to give you great advice, and it's a great reminder that you're not alone.
I hope these Bible verses will encourage you. They bring me such hope and peace:
Philippians 4:6-7
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God, and the peace of God that transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Praying for you, friend.
