That makes me wonder why your doctor chose to put you on both a SSRI and a benzo, especially given the risks. It's obviously having a reverse effect.
Basically, your thoughts are the anxiety, the meds, and your teenage hormones talking. They just can't get along together. Being 19 is hard enough without all that other stuff on top of it.
Tomorrow, call your doctor and tell them what's going on. A chemical correction has to be made before any other kind of therapeutic steps will work to get you out of the funk...and that's all it is, a funk. It WILL get better - you're so young, there's much more left to do!
That's depression which I believe go hand in hand.
Anxiety makes us isolate & avoid which makes us depressed which leads to wanting to not BE.
I think you need to speak with your pdoc about changing something, whether it's up-ing your dosage or changing it completely. Something definitely does not seem right!
That's such a HARD call as anti-depressants ARE notorious for bring on suicial thoughts.
BUT....so is depression!!!
