Do you have a therapist? They can help you to develop the tools you can use so you don't feel like suffocating daily. Mine has helpt me a great deal to face some of my demons of the past. They are not laid to rest but at least I can face them and that has reduced my anxiety overall. I still get a panic attack maybe once a month or so but I have strategies to deal with those when they happen.
What meds are you on? I am on a long laundry list but on Adavan for anxiety.

I'm sorry to hear that you're struggling right now. You are not alone. I also deal with panic attacks, and a therapist recommended the book "When Panic Attacks" by David D. Burns to me about a year ago. It actually changed my life! If you have the opportunity to check out that book, I hope it brings you some relief from your anxiety too.
Some other advice I can offer is to remember that a panic attack is only temporary. Your mind will try to convince you otherwise, but the feelings will not last forever. When I have a panic attack, I have found that focusing on breathing slowly (in through the nose and out through the mouth) and drinking some water can help too. Tell yourself that you are okay, you are safe and the sensations will pass.
Hope you feel better
