Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...

I feel ok right now - right this second - but my anxiety is out of frickin control! I take 3 medicines, 1 for anxiety, and 2 for depression. I don't think they are working anymore and my doctor just simply says to see a counselor. Well that's all well and good but I need more than that. There is an imbalance. Grr. I woke up this morning with my shoulders hurting, my head is pounding, and the longer I laid there the more I thought I was having a heart attack - my jaw just barely starting hurting and then went away. That is my anxiety - all health related stuff... Like a damn heart attack, stroke, cancer, brain aneurysm, whatever. Family history doesn't point to any of this but - anxiety sucks. I walk my dog a little bit - but then I am scared of people and other dogs - heck I do NOT want to be attacked by a damn dog haha! I asked my husband to come home from work early to take care of me... How attractive. Eventually I told him not to. I am struggling here. I just need some ways to feel better. Something. Maybe I will call one of my former counselors. Til I am able to pick up the phone - make an appointment - and get in to see someone - I will struggle. Sorry yall... I hope you are feeling ok today? :/

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

Keep up the great work on yourselves; I'm rooting for all of you!So, I started doing therapy at the beginning of the year, when I was in my most depressed state, but with my therapist, I made big changes and steps in the right direction. But, over a month ago, she couldn't take my insurance anymore, and I had to stop...
Stay strong and keep on posting to vent.
Apology NOT accepted. Ranting, venting and sorting are the very reason we gather here. At worst, it is cathartic. At best, it leads to functional solutions to deviling problems. Vent freely. Vent often.
If you already know a counselor you find amazing, I do hope you give her a call.
Whether that works out or not, I hope you find healing companionship here.
Welcome aboard.
