My childhood in the social margins of child prostitution made "Social" confusing to me long before I learned the word. By the time Social Workers approached me about taking over protective custody of my 3 young grandchildren, their concern about the "Socialization" they were receiving with their other sickly, morbidly obese grandparents made solid sense to me. It made even more sense to me after the traffic accident which left them orphaned a few short weeks later.
Then along came the social distancing, isolation and social anxiety legacy of Coronaville. . .

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.
I'm confused on what is the national response to this. Some states seem to care others don't and there is no federal leadership for consistency and effecy. We seem to be sinking in a flood of positive cases.
And where is the media in all of this? They make it sound like a positive case is somehow equal to hospitalization or death. They are not. My example is Florida where I reside, deaths are only slightly increasing but number of cases is skyrocketing. Where also are the number of those that recovered. More and more this pandemic seems to be the fiction of the media.
As I work to shield my 3 orphans from the popular press saying that they are hazardous to the health of their sole lifeline in their heavily traumatized lives, I still have more faith in my senior immune system than the marshal law which is cutting us off from all outside support.
Increasingly, I would rather die hugging my grandchildren than to live kissing a mask. Stay safe from what? Freedom? Love? Social stability? The next generation?
The next flu season is just around the corner with weakened immune systems culture wide.
Confusion is deliberate by media. Not once has journalism established a concrete method of reporting information acquired through established, verified, authentic resources.
Living in a military installation community brings a "wear mask, wash hands, watch your distance, and work with each other" which is helping to slow down the spread where it is used.
For those who are unable to wear masks, people offer help in purchasing groceries and other tasks.

For sure, there is not a fiber of my child-sex-trafficking-survivor being which believes COVID-19 is the meanest pathogen in the Worldwide Petri Dish. For sure, the weight of being abandoned/isolated and without support with 3 traumatized orphans is wearing on my senior bones.
Yea, there are the delivery services for those of us unable to wear masks. Masked and socially distant as a kiddie whorehouse client, of course. Whoopee! ! ! No, maskite, you do not get to take the children in for their socially distant wellness checks nor their socially distant swim lessons.
