Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. You've taken the important first step in writing it out.
Keep a private daily journal. Stay hydrated. Practice even breathing (in through nose, out through mouth, in through nose, out through nose) to find calm in the moment.
Best wishes as you find your better balance.
I saw your other posts and you have good reason to feel anxious. Like @Mid said, keeping a private, daily journal will help you get through these tough times. Write it all out, get it all out.
I do think your anxiety will get better once you find out what's going on with your family situation. I know it's hard right now..
Hope you feel better.
Welcome to the group. You will find so many nice people here that will help you and support you. The feeling of anxiety is horrible and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. Only the people that have it understand what your going through. I get it trust me. Try to maybe exercise, walking is good, I do yoga and meditate. That helps me keep calm and focused. Eat a well balanced diet and drink water. Sleeping is important for the body.
I hope some of these suggestions help. Glad to meet you. Take good care. Italianmomma4ever
Anxiety is a hardwired part of the inter-species survival instincts. Even cute little bunny rabbits in an interesting, safe and secure bunny habitat suffer anxiety. It is a gift of nature until it escalates out of control and turns into an internal drug dealer that keeps flooding our systems without so much as a by-your-leave. Personally, I wouldn't mind so much if those all-natural drugs had a more pleasant buzz on them, but an anxiety buzz is far from pleasant inside my own skin. Definitely not my drug of choice.
My therapy support network is priceless in helping me find anxiety management tools to help me cope. Getting my anxieties of the day into words so that I can share within that support network helps me focus the issues of the day. My supporters help me find the right tool for managing the symptoms of the day.
This very forum is a node on my therapy support network. I hope it serves you as well as it has served me. Welcome aboard.
