Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
Don’t beat yourself up. My anxiety has been managed quite well the last few years but lately I notice little tells that it’s nipping at my heels. It doesn’t mean all that work I’ve done in the past to manage it is for nothing or isn’t working. Just means I need to pay attention and pull out some old tools for addressing it.

It is easier to keep going when I am gentle with myself and patient with the process.
But that is me. . .
Continued support while you find your own way through. If change were easy, everybody would do it. It's so much easier to change your hair color and call it meaningful.
I've been facing down old memories and finding a peace within through processing using the tools gained and accepting that they are just that-memories.
Here's hoping you find peace within and a better balance and being able to let go of the pain and hurt associated with those memories.
I'm not a therapist but I am in the same shoes as you. Although I would imagine everyone's cause of anxiety is different and individual to themselves, I read an immensely helpful article today that significantly proved to be quite relieving. I will just post the link here. Choose to read it or not, but either way, I support you and am right there with you. Know that you are supported and not suffering alone. Best of luck to you.
