Most of the time, I do not have the symptom, but the fact that I am using so much energy waiting for it to appear or thinking about it that I make myself worse.
You may actually be having heart flutters. If you are still feeling poorly and anxious about the symptoms, I would go in for a sick visit with the doctor. I don't know your take on the doctors, but they make me feel better knowing that nothing is going on other than a virus or something minor.
Yes, I get heart flutters too and have been getting them a lot lately. Trying to think of how to describe it - it feels a bit like a skipped beat but more than that. It really is like a butterfly flutter more than a beat and it can be scary. I asked my dr. about it and also had the halter monitor for a couple of days and they said it was nothing to worry about.
Yes, the fluttering does make me light headed. I haven't passed out but I'm so tuned into my body that when my heart does that I feel like I could faint and then I'm fine.
I've had the flutter off and on since I was very young so I'm trusting that in my case it isn't serious.
Seeing a doctor can ease your mind. I call these "peace of mind" visits.
