Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. Stay strong....
Maybe you could tell your mom that you are very anxious and it is affecting you to the point where you are seeing things, and could she take you to a doctor. It could be your vision, or because of other reasons, like headaches, but the fact that you are also feeling paranoid could be the reason. Also this may be because you have a big imagination? I used to see shadows and think that they were shapes or people and I had a very active imagination.
If you feel that your mom won't listen, is there anyone else that you trust that you could tell and they could tell your mom? Maybe if you wrote your mom a letter or note explaining everything that you are experiencing, that may help. And if you are dreaming, it may be when you wake up and are still in that dream state. I hope for you to be able to figure this out and be able to tell your mom so that she will understand and you can resolve this
anyway, we moved into a smaller more manageable place (only 25 yrs old) and I'd see shadows, both in the house, looked like an animal then I'd see a stooped over man walk by quite often. I finally asked my husband if he had seen either, he said yes....so much for not believing in ghosts! Once we got a dog, the shadows went way. So, either I'm off balance or the 'house' felt happy again.
Also realized that i watch a lot of TV at night with lights off and the different colors/shapes on theTV bounce off the nearest window and then to the wall. Hope this is all your 'shadows' are.
Can you get to a school counselor before school ends?
