Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...

What causes such rediculous scenario's?
I know it's not normal, But, I have seeing I own funneral in my head, And a ulagy. I know that's creepy........I know it's rediculuos.
I also, had a dream last night, that I was on a bike, and coming out of my driveway crossing into left lane, and almost got hit (I live on a street that car's don't go the speed limit)
I also go to bed very anxious, and have flashes, today at the gym was one of them. I was on a bike, I saw someone in my face, as if they going to hurt me, and could feel myself speed up and slow down speed up and slow down.
So, What does cause all these Scenario's, that seem to come out of nowhere?......I do go to bed anxious, and have troule seeping cause of all theese racing thaught's, wake up, go to the gym. and have more intrusive thought's.......and come home and realize nothing actually is going to happen.

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.
personally, i let the why mystery be while i keep the focus on what to do with my intrusive thoughts. sometimes i let them escalate into full-blown literary works. more often i go to the gym or some such to balance and/or vent them.
Often, as I found out later, I would discover a hidden moment that my brain was ready to resolve at unexpected time.
Every person has had those thoughts, and it's how you choose to move through them that will help you find what works best.
Here's to you sharing!
But I want you to know that you're not alone in thinking them.
I hope you feel better soon and are able to get some good rest.
I don’t think I would say that anything I’m dealing with is “ridicules” or strange… I know I’m weird…. But I know (a lot thanks to daily strength) that what I deal with is a lot more normal than I ever was told…
I’ve seen my own funeral, I’ve seen who wasn’t there… and I got upset that certain folks were not there… but I also know it wasn’t real, and it shouldn’t really matter if they were there or not…
I’m sorry… I’m just rambling.. I hope you can find something in this crazy post that can help you out…
Sorry you’re dealing with this, but I don’t think anything you’re dealing with is ridiculous….
(never going to see him, or them) But, I can still see this mental guy: dad come over (or someone representing him) saying he say's this about, that about that. I said something the guy didn't agree with, and him screaming and yelling in my face (I still remember what happened, where I was sitting, where he was and his dad was standing, I was down in the basement, sitting on the couch, I forget what I was doing. But, this guy was about 5ft from me. And this guy and his father come in, the mental guy screaming and yelling at me, cause being older then me, he has to right about things, he took whatever I had, his dad would say, "no Keith, that's David's. And his son would pout, and that's how he got his way, and the would wave it in my face.......saying "poor baby.....sorry buddy.
He them would stand at the basement door, to make me fallow him upstairs where is mom was......so he could boast, knelt down before he and was like "LOOK, LOOK MOMMY" like he was pleasing his queen)
I actually did forget about it, for like 15yrs prior to that.
I was like 30 when I started thinking about it again, And took a free trial at betterhelp.com
I put in the back of my mind, until his sister friended me on facebook, and pictures of him were on my feed.
We were friends on facebook for 15 year's, Just a little over four year's, she asked me to.......myself playing guitar........Instead f saying "David can You post yourself playing guitar" I get "can he post" it was posted to my page, But, she said it like she was asking my mother.
"Can he post" makes it sound like Your doing it for someone else.......Making me thank, she wants me to "humor" her brother., so, he thinks he can teach me stuff, when he's actually not, someone has to tell him/show what to say and do (I know him and them, and I have seen it growing up with him and the family)
thinking about this video (which I am not doing)
Growing up, it has always been to him, You have to like what I like, do what I do, U can't know till I teach You.
If I post a song, or something he doesn't like, I usually hear it, Growing I never knew when they were coming over, so he could repremand me.
And thinking about all this, decided to un-friend his sister.
But, I can forget this guy now, I'll never see again, he has Alzheimers .
Now, I keep thinking about his nises and nephew, Are they going to come over and act like their uncle was to me 35yr's ago and not think i am who I say I am, and look at my guitar book that has '94 in it (the year I started)
Them hearing what they want and think that '94 is 24 last year) them asking what this is that is, and then decively telling me, like they taught me......basically contradicting everything I know......Them tearing up all my music, so they
can teach me all over again....the very fundamental's of guitar......cause they and their mother are very gifted musicians.
I keep thinking about all this, and want to forget it, (been trying things to try to keep my mind off this shit, like I take zoom guitar lesson's (don't know why, when I can just google other technique) too take my mind off this stuff, cause when I', doing zoom I don't think about this) I brew beer, nephew took me to a flyers game, go out to eat with my parent's.....etc stuff I enjoy, to forget about all this.
Just don't know how to put it out of my mind.
I don't want to be vengeful spiteful........that's what the devil does, I don't want to be that person....
notalone00,
Don't worry about ramblin I do it all the time....LOL!!
on the note of not wanting to be THAT PERSON, the more i worry that note, the louder it rings and quickly takes over the show. when i allow myself to be THAT PERSON for however long it takes to get a handle on the undercurrents, i typically find that the haunting was not the devil's work, after all. it was god leading me to an important lesson i overlooked. once i learn my lesson, the haunting goes away.
I did read an article about, PTSD/Manipulators (really bad PTSD issues) the article said: that people with PTSD will not confront You.
I know God will protect me, not sure why I keep thinking about it though.
The rambling does help though.
glad the writing helps you, as well. it is a veritable lifeline for me. so is my guitar. i use my guitar in creative ways to help me get a handle on the intrusive thoughts. even more so when i can consolidate into a song. prayer helps, too. i believe god will guide my every strum when i let her.
for what it's worth
that is a big AssUMption your article is making that ptsd sufferers will not confront you. that is true for some, but only some. i believe we come in greater variety than the author is giving us credit for.
child sex trafficking makes for some super bad PTSD. pre-therapy me would have confronted you in a heartbeat, often violently and/or repeatedly. i still feel those urges after decades of recovery but have acquired many effective tools for dealing with them. today i am far more likely to fit the assumption within your article and not confront anyone over whatever AssUMptions they care to throw at me.
