He is trying to taper but he cant work and taper so he is stuck
It works to keep my panic/anxiety/depression from going from 0-150 in two seconds flat = roaring tornado flapping arms, screeching voice, and other not so funny physical symptoms.
However, I am in cognitive behavior therapy treatment to help me with these sensations, even though they are often not visible to others, they describe what I feel inside, and affect my ability to maintain normal daily living activities.
For those people who have had their dosage increased, the scary side effect of zoloft withdrawal is often multiple reactions coming together in one form, and it's hard to figure out how to stand strong and firm through the sensations.
One thing that does help me is when I have to change the time I take the medicine is to do physical activities, and keep my toes moving. That prevents the chemical change from overwhelming a specific sensation, and I feel better even with the anxiety.
Hope this helps.
