General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...

I went to the doctor on Tuesday, and he prescribed me Clonazepam and Celexa. I took my first dose of Clonazepam today, as my anxiety was overwhelming. I'm scared out of my mind about the possible side affects. I'm too scared to take the Celexa yet, because I feel that it might make me worse, and also, I feel that if I can get my anxiety undert control, I won't feel so depressed.
Anyone else take either of these? I'm scared. I only took 0.25 mg of the Clonazepam.

Clonazepam is generic for Klonopin. My doctor gave it to me actually for my insomnia but I find it works really well if I have a panic attack but it does make me rather sleepy...But I also take 1mg of it at a time. I don't know much about Celexa, but I take Lexapro which is fairly similar and I've had pretty good results with it keeping my anxiety in check.

Forgot to mention that the Celexa will probably take you a few weeks before you feel the effects which is probably why you got prescribed the Klonopin because it works immediately.

I used to take Celexa for 9 years. Worked very well and gave me my life back. Every now and then I could feel a little anxiety but nothing that would keep me from doing what I needed or wanted to do. Back in 2007 I had a really bad scare with my son and my life spun out of control. The Celexa no longer worked for me. I think if I would have taken the xanax with the Celexa at that time and got therapy it would still be working. Instead I went to my pc doctor and told him what was going on and he wanted to switch my medicine. I let him. I wish I would have went to a pyschiatrist (?) first because it might have still worked. I wish you the best of luck. Oh and I dont remember any side effects except sweating a little at night. Very good drug. Best of luck.

Try to work through the worries. You won't be able to make progress if you are afraid of the solution.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
