Today I try to take a more natural approach to my issues, like eating healthier, and getting enough sleep although this isn't always possible. I think meds are way oversubscribed and often don't do what their purported to do.
But keeping it specific to chemical reactions and side effects, I'd be calling the prescribing doc for those symptoms. Even if I was forewarned to expect such symptoms at first, I'd want assurance that the symptoms are in the realm anticipated. How much is okay?
Medication can be very helpful, life changing for some. Keep at it, you will find the right one!
As others have pointed out, finding the right one even if you need to manage the side effects can be life changing.
Buspirone used to make me uncomfortably light headed and also I would break out in cold sweats for the first 30 minutes once it took effect.
Now I take it about 5 minutes before eating breakfast. Problem solved for me.
Hope you can work something out with your doc. As Arfie said, there are "normal" side effects, and then there are troubling side effects. Check to make sure yours are the expected common ones.
