My mask phobia wasn't much of a problem until surgical team impersonators started showing up and shutting down the world. This past year has been a flashback hell for me and the nearest I have come to finding help is name-calling and demands that I suck it up and get with the program.
That part remains motivation to increase social distances beyond governmental regulation, but I seem to have -maybe- made a breakthrough on the frustration of not being able to read lips to compensate for my unreliable hearing. I simply ask, "May I please read your lips?" So far, everybody I have asked has been polite about granting my request. A few have even looked tremendously relieved to grant my request. I think it might be helping. Maybe. . . Testing, 1, 2, 3. . .

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.
If there really has been an alien invasion, will we finally have a definition of "Illegal Alien" which makes sense to this SciFi fan?
