I have PTSD, Bipolar, Depression, Emphysema, COPD, Asthma, Severe Anxiety Disorder, Fibromyalgia, Bursistis in my hip..and right now...my anxiety is worse than ever.
I'm sure the outside weather is making it worse probably have SAD as well...Seasonal Affective...Blah!
But even though you think you're just cleaning be positive on yourself for getting up and doing those things!! Take baby steps on your bad days. Don't push yourself too hard because it will affect you later for the worse. I know cuz I do it to myself then my anxiety overwhelms me the day or a couple days later.

Of course, there is SAD and using a light box can help with that - as can vitamin D (but get your levels checked to be sure you're in a therapeutic range).
What if, in the winter, it was only about doing those few chores and then indulging yourself the rest of the time? Resting, writing, meditating, eating nourishing foods, exploring hobbies you enjoy.
If you're in the US, the time change is coming soon and that can signal signs of spring for some.
I tell everyone this, so forgive me if you've read it before but I also had SAD and anxiety, IBS, migraines, arthritis... My doctor tested me for the MTHFR gene mutation and tested my folate because if you have the mutation, you can't convert folic acid into usable folate. Once I got it corrected by taking a special folate and avoiding folic acid, my IBS and arthritis, depression and anxiety have completely cleared.
