I need some advice... I have been dealing with anxiety for years but this past year it has become overwelming.. alittle over two weeks ago had a severe panick attack at work and had to leave and later on that night i ending up with a trip to the hospital... The doctors prescribed me 1mg ativan for nines days until i could get to my appointment to see my doctor... I explained to her what was going on and she prescribed me 25mg zoloft and .5mg ativan for two weeks to see any changes... well ive been on zoloft for eight days now and side affects have been up and down,but yesterday and today was the the worst... I have been experiencing worse anxiety than i did without the medicine and i dont want to become dependent on the ativan but its the only thing helping me right now beside breathing and meditating techniques i have been using but i still dont feel like im really getting anywhere... and i have been having throat tightness along with ringing in the ears and head pressure and ofcourse the only thing helping is the ativan which i hope those arent beginning withdraw symptoms... I dont even like taking pills... Help im scared...

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. In other words, the symptoms you describe to the doctor, times. location, length of episode, what worked, what did work when, little details can guide the doctor to what you may need.
I used the zoloft for the anxiety depression symptoms, and had to make certain to stay hydrated, with both food and water. It gave me relief enough to add more techniques to my toolkit to find a balance in most situations naturally.
