Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...

"I'm so scared that this will never go away, and that I'll never feel like myself again. I'm constantly scared, and I have no idea what I'm so frightened of. "
You couldn't have read my mind any better with that statement. The funny thing is most of us are in good health but for some reason we can not convince ourselves that we are fine and not going to die. The best advice I can give you is to try and keep reminding yourself your fine. You do know your fine you just have a disease that trys to trick your mind into beleiving your not.
You have a valid concern that it will never go away. In my experiences, it never does "go away," but you learn to live with it and mitigate it. It sounds like you have Generalized Anxiety Disorder. My best advice at this moment is try to reduce stress, eat well, sleep, exercise, and make time for yourself. I know it is much easier said than done.
We are the same age and maybe a similar experience. Feel free to msg me or chat if I'm online. I was considering getting my master's at this moment as well.
Anyway, best of luck and I hope you feel better.
Even though I feel more overwhelmed, anxious and scared than ever in my life, I do know that everyone struggles with some battle. It shouldn't be comforting to know that fact, but it at least lets me know that though I feel this way (sad/troubled/overwhelmed/anxious) there are people out there either going through the similar battle or something completely different yet just as challenging. I guess what I mean is, I don't believe that any smiling face is truly carefree. I believe that every action is one that is planned, whether consciously or subconsciously, and all we can do is hope that one day we are the ones that people look at and think, "man, I wish I was that happy." And maybe I'm an optimist, but I truly believe that day will come! :)
It's hard going through the process, easier to know that I can get support along with everyone else here when needed, and that, yes, this is temporary!
