hey guys.


i really hope somebody can just give me a boost of confidence.


i went to the dr on Thursday due to abnormal vagina discharge & they tested for gonorrhea & chlamydia and i’m Waiting for my results to come back and I’m so so so nervous. I want to sit in a corner and cry because I have no idea what I’ll do if they come back positive for one or the other. I really keep telling myself that I don’t have an std because it’s really not possible unless somebody lied to me (very likely) I just want advice on how to stay calm regarding this situation.

Keep on top of it and yes bug your partners again and indicate for their own peace of mind as well as others they should get checked. There’s another home test kit that would be sold in volumes. Really we can do a little dip strip for drugs and pregnancy test kits but nothing available for STD’s??? Maybe some medical person will read my reply and think to themselves hmmmm he’s got a pretty good idea$$$$$.

The other men I’ve had sex with we’ve always used a condom & this has been a recurring issue for me and guys never have texted me saying “you gave me chlamydia” Excessive discharge has ALWAYS been a problem. And I know, I wish there was a home test kit you can buy at a drug store because this is killing me to know what to do :(

First, take away abnormal discharge and consider the situation without this detail.

Very important, ..., std notifications are confidential, and if circumstances prove that std was involved, you already know that you're not the originator. Use of condoms by males is a proven safety measure for the std diagnosis you have mentioned. None of those is 100%.

Abnormal vaginal discharge can often be bacterial infection.

It could just be a regular infection or build-up of bacteria

It was negative for Bacterial Vaginosis, Trichomoniasis & yeast infection :(

The good news is if it is either one they r curable. I had clymidia when I was much younger. Someone lied to me. And they give u a heavy dose of doxycycline and in a week u r better.

It was negative for both gonorrhea & chlamydia! Just waiting for the pap results to come back!
