Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...

Woke up this morning and I think I am going crazy. Worries of the world, anarchists, unrest here in the US, loneliness, and on and on. This election is going to be so important if we want to keep our lifestyle. I see what the libs want and it scares me so much. I don't call them democrats because they do not resemble those I know and like. Everyone who is not a socialist is scared to say anything-including me.
One of the things I found out yesterday was the squad wants to take all the stock from the companies and have no citizen ownership of companies. If you have a 401K or any retirement investment, it will be gone in an instant. I have a small investment and that is my spending money for the year like found money-no earmarks. I got the weed trimmer with it last spring and I was going to get a hose reel but decided not to just in time. It was another $30 that I don't need to spend right now. I will wait till I have a job again. Mine works ok but has a leak. Just need to fix the leak!
I believe the virus is being spread on purpose to cause more fear. It is working!!! I now know someone close by who has it. I know his cousin and we visit not just on the phone but in person about once a week. She was her last Saturday to see Mom. If that is true, we may be exposed. Now that worry.
Mom is having panic attacks. Had 3 since I started writing this! She says she is bloated and can't breath. Wants me to cut her clothes off. I keep the fan on her all the time. Legs won't work she says but she walks fine. I went thru some panic episodes a few years ago and she helped me out of it. It felt like my heart was going to jump out of me. I don't know how to help her when she is like this. When she wakes up, she is just fine.
I will call Monday to see when we can get to see a councler. Praying the might open some doors to help.
Read something funny the other day--I'm more confused than a comeleon in a bag of skittles. That's me.

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

No police in towns but replaced with social workers. No plane flights, no cows. Shortages like we have never seen since the depression of the 30s.
Re-education camps for conservatives and religious people. They would also rewrite history to make our great country into the worst history ever. Everything bad in the world would be the fault of white people. They say we are all racist just because of our color. I didn't know I had a choice?
I don't want to live anymore if they get all the power. Why would I?
My idea of a good life is live and let live. Work if you can, help others and not expect anything in return but always pass on favors. Random acts of kindness. Love animals, nature, and give hugs every day.
I think in the end some of these restrictions will not stick. We cannot change our history, nor should we. We learn how to improve life by our past failures and successes. We should celebrate our heritages and remember the melting-pot of cultures and races that have come together to make up America.
Like you, I was raised to be kind, love Mother Earth and only take what you need. Help others who are not as fortunate, Embrace our differences. Love each other as we are and not to judge.
That said, my life had taught me differently which is not to trust anyone, be cautious,. But I do try to incorporate what I was taught. Change is always challenging. It’s the fear of the unknown. There is change everyday. I think the media blows things out of proportion which makes everyone more on edge because we are all watching the news closely to see what is happening with the pandemic. The truth is that these types of events go on all the time, they just are not publicized as much.. I’ve seen a lot working in emergency management. I am now retired but still volunteer my services and also do some volunteer work for public safety,
Hugs, wishing you serenity and peace.
So far as I can tell, the more our social distances and political chaos grows, the more we are losing our sense of reality. It's getting harder to remember what living smiles look like. The digital smiles are getting harder to believe by the masked, socially distant encounter off screen. What planet were those smiles digitized on? Nobody has mouths on this planet.
Breathing with you. . . Healing hopes for all. No exceptions.
The only thing we can do is follow the rules and pray it will end sooner than later.
Is your Mom taking meds for panic attacks? Maybe she should. But there are over the counter meds for panic attacks.
Secouya, I agree as we should all be cautious. And it sounds like you are doing good work.
Wishing good health to all.
