Tomorrow is my birthday and I will be 68 years old.  Age doesn't bother me, really.  So the celebration started yesterday with dinner at one of my favorite restaurants, that I actually worked at in the 90s.  I went with my brother and our good friend.  I ordered shrimp scampi.  My brother was treating.  They got Italian dishes.  We all left with containers because this restaurant is not skimpy on portions.  Tomorrow, I want to celebrate by myself.  It's going to rain but I want to do things for me.  I just did a post about going through old junk and I think I will be doing that for a bit tomorrow.  I also want to go to the gym and possibly go thrifting.  On Wednesday, my best friend is taking me to dinner and then we are going to an outside concert in Philadelphia.  The band is a Tom Petty cover band.  I really like his music.  It is tradition for me to celebrate for about a week for my birthday.  When I turned 40, I got kidnapped at work by some old friends.  They came to my office and brought me balloons and took me to the bar that was next to my office.  That was a total surprise.  When I turned 30, we had my birthday celebration at a bar at the shore.  Even my Mom came.  We had a great time!  When I turned 50, my youngest brother and one of my best friends threw me a surprise birthday party!  That was sweet!  So this is my last day to be 67 but hey, I like even numbers!  Well, it's time to get ready for the beach and some relaxation!
