Hey new here but im 19 years old and my family is in a finicial struggle but recently ive devolped Agoraphobia and very bad anxiety its to the point i dissociat constantly and sorta block the world out and this casues my anxeity to sprial to panick attacks which I no longer think that getting a job and making freinds is even a option ive been in my house only leaving at most once a week if that for past few months and as comfertable as my room is for me I know deep down its making it worse by not pushing threw my issues and with the finacial issues my family is on the verge of losing our house and I know i need a job but i dont know how im going to work when I can barley bring myself to leaving the house and socailly ive lost 90% of my freinds i never talk to anyone any more and feel 0 need to acctualy have people out side my family even tho i would love to have those people back but they never understood where im at mentally so they no longer could relate to me and i recognized that so i started to fade from all people I had contact with and as much as that brings lonleyness its the only thing I think I could do because hanging out and going places isnt somthing i ever want to do I just sit at home get on my computer and repeat the same day over and over

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

Gentle empathy on that urge to hide from the world. Alas, hiding behind closed doors isn't much of an option, either. Given my psychotic druthers, I'd have my own little cave in the wilderness where I don't have to pay rent or smell you stinky human critters, but, even when we still had wilderness to hide in, hiding still gets psychotic in a hurry. People need people and, like it or not, I am one of those stinky human critters, too.

It is an honorable thing to want to assist your family financially but the priority should be your mental wellbeing right now. Feeling good and wanting to be a part of the world will help you to make a meaningful contribution to society.
I know your family is struggling but can you find resources in your community to address counseling/therapy? Maybe there are resources to assist with dealing and coping with being displaced.
