I had anxiety so bad at the end of November that I couldn't eat anything but applesauce and graham crackers for about 4 days. My doctor prescribed Phenergan to take when needed. I still didn't feel much like eating but I didn't feel so much like I was going to puke every time I looked at food or had a sip of water.

I totally understand where you are coming from. Just a little of anxiety my stomach turns and I feel like throwing up and fainting. Especially when I think of negative situations and people.

The mind body connection is HUGE. When you think negative and your mind starts the worry your stomach is connected and thus will feel anxious too. They are all interrelated. Thus people get upset stomachs.

When we stop the worry cycle and keep saying "so what" the less it happens. When you give up the fear of it happening, it will lose it's resistance over you. Resistance = Persistence. Thus things keep happening.

I have struggled with this as well. I try to deep breath to help me deal with it. And reminding myself that I am OK and that this is just anxiety, helps too!

WOW, This is me! I get anxious, I get stressed, I get nausea, I get fearful, I go into a gagging attack. Right Now, I sit very anxious, nausea, stressed, I have to work in about 2 hours. I will go to work and do what I have to do. I wasn't feeling good monday morning with a sore throat, I thought I was getting a cold. It never came. By monday night I felt awful, tuesday I got through my work day but I was stressed and worrying and crying about stupid things that were bugging me. Tuesday night, I was laying in bed playing a game and I was overcome with the sudden urge I had to throw up. I went and sat in the bathroom but never got sick. I would go back in my bed and it would come back, So again I went and sat in the bathroom. Again nothing. I felt crappy until I feel asleep. I took an anti-anxiety med as I didn't know if I was sick or if I was just so upset that I flaired up my anxiety. Finally I fell asleep and slept from 1130 til 800 in the morning. I work up still feeling crappy probably because the first thought in my head was oh man I'm gonna have the stomach flu today. It is now 1:46 and I have not gotten sick. I ate a few pretzels, a little bit of cereal and just had two pieces of toast. I also just took another anti-anxiety med. I need to calm my anxiety down because once I know I get the anxiety calmed down I will feel better. I did start feeling better around 11ish today; however, the closer work becomes I do become a little more anxious. UGH! Such a stupid stupid battle but I'm learning to cope and am doing a good job coping but it is taking a long time to get everything under control. I also am on a daily medication that we still will not know if it is the proper dose until another three weeks. I think that is the hardest thing I just want to take the medication and for it to go away. But at least they found a medication that works for the gagging and nausea. I always thought I would have to live with this for the rest of my life. Now if I gag I usually only gag once and I'm able to walk back in and do what I have to shortly after the attack. I can feel the attack coming and if it comes I just excuse myself for a second and I'm fine two seconds later.
