The most important thing to remember is you are not alone.
How are u feeling today? From what i understand in your posts it seems like u dont have a problem medically.I'd therefore like to suggest an exercise where u get a notebook and record all ur thoughts and feelings for at least one month.this can help u to recognise patterns that may trigger such bouts of anxiety.Secondly,do u spend much time alone?im asking because when i sit alone for long periods,i begin to introspect so much that i become anxious.I hope ths helps CeeCee.Have a good day
I’m pretty active I train in two martial arts (Brazilian jiu jitsu and May Thai) I go trail running, hiking, lift weights etc. I love fitness it is definitely my outlet. I’m also a recovering bulimic, but as of late I have relapsed in that department I feel like anxiety triggers my bulimia. Poor coping mechanism developed.
I still have nights where I feel impending doom.
It sounds silly, but I just take deep breathes and tell myself “even if I died right now, how would I feel about it, am I satisfied with my life thus far?” And the answers is, I’m proud of my life and all I have accomplished and built with my lovely kids and husband. So yes, I am satisfied. It helps calm me down, almost that accepting my own death makes the anxiety go away. Could I have anxiety related to dying and that’s what triggers episodes? Possibly, i am a nurse so I work with all kinds of patients.
Grounding is good and helps me too. So I’d say I have improvements with anxiety, it is still there just not as bad as it was to where I wanted to call 911.
I was wondering if cbd oil would help at bedtime? I know most people with anxiety have a harder time at night and upon waking.
Has anyone tried cbd and if so did it help?
