My memory "loss" causes me to avoid talking to many people only because I cant remember names or particulars of our last conversation - which in turn, pairs with my shyness and feeds directly back into my anxiety level. It is circular and quite exhausting.
What was I talking about??
we are all human. we are designed to work at optimum levels all of the time. however, there are poor styles of thinking that can work poorly for us.
all we have to do is drop that style of thinking for a better one.
we live in a strange modern culture. it is fast. complicated. ever-changing. and runs us in circles.
a thousand years ago, those people lived much simpler. things were so cut and dry. there was no such thing as multi-tasking.
all we have to do is adopt the thinking style of our ancestors.
think of and do only the thing right in front of you.
there is no glory in thinking in and of itself.
once we stop obsessively thinking, our memory functions perfectly once again - like magic.
live simply. do not multi-task. do not think of yesterday. do not think of tomorrow.
think only of today. only today.
there's not a damn thing wrong with your memory.
