Hello everyone, I had a question regarding the medications I am on. It's been a year and we are still trying to figure things out. I'm mentally gone and want to give up on life. I recently went inpatient for my anxiety/depression/ocd. The new medication they have put me on is Luvox 50mg, Ablify 7.5mg, Klonopin .25mg as needed and propranolol 10mg. I feel so gone mentally like in a haze. Dpdr happens, body aches, nausea, headaches, numb feeling so completely gone I want to give up. I've been on these meds for four weeks now with little improvement. I've been off of work will more than likely sell my house, can barely drive, anxiety is still high I just feel disconnected from the world. I need some light shinned on me that this will too pass and get better.

Hope the dog days of summer aren't getting you down!

Maybe it takes longer than four weeks to see much improvement
or maybe you need an adjustment on one or more of your
medications. Do you have a therapist to talk to?
My cousin is a miracle healer. He is in Thailand healing people. He is working for the church. He is not a scam. Because he is my cousin. YOu can find him on facebook.
I can't speak to the medications but was not sure what propranolol was for and looked it up on Mayo Clinic dot org (a USA famous hospital). I might suggest you look up all the medications and double check their side effects.
I looked up what has been shared previously.
Here's what your current "normal" is. Here is what you want for 'normal'. That's what you share with your medicine and mental health-in the terms of the treatment they provide.
What works medicine, may not be working well with mental health. That's the hard part, choosing what symptoms to manage first and moving forward from that point to the next point.
Are you also on Effexor still?
I know this is hard. Everyone responds differently to different medications.
Please tell your doctor exactly how you feel.
Let us know how you are doing.
You're not alone. A lot of us on here have been dealing with anxiety for many many years.
You will get the right medication for you. Hang in there and keep trying. It WILL get better! It takes some time, usually. Keep posting!
