Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...

Here in the third month of marshal law, my phobic/psychotic reactions to surgical masks are still escalating. My phobic reactions to the designer masks are even less rational than my reactions to the med park lines. I can neither wear a mask nor even recognize the humanity behind the masks. Reminder. . . Phobias are irrational fears. I can't seem to wish ^it^ away any more than I can erase memories of the medical traumas which planted those phobic seeds to begin with.
Several of my brothers and sisters-in-healing tell me they are having equally phobic reactions to my indecently exposed (unmasked) face.
Any thoughts on Mask Therapy? Am I even making sense?
Reality checks needed.

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.
It's hard for those who are unable to wear masks for whatever reason, and for those who are required to wear masks for whatever reasons, to be comfortable with facing each other and remaining calm.
The best I can offer is I smile with my eyes and move on, without saying a word.
Yes, you make a lot of sense.
My work in animal husbandry and bio-remediation have given me a great respect for the microscopic world, both organic and industrial. There are elements in both jobs that prove germaphobia really can be a lifesaver. I don't **get to see** the dangers surrounding my sick animals or industrial disaster scenes. The gnarliest of those dangers arenae visible to the human eye. I salute vigorously when my germaphobia emerges on the job. ^It^ is warning me of unseen danger. I can wear a mask when my survival instinct is advising me to.
My logic isnae making the leap of faith to salute the logic and benevolence of Coronaville's marshal law enforcers, nor the fashion maskers selling color coordinated ensembles.
Then we get to the unpredictable nature of PTSD psychoses(pl). . .
Got meds? ? ? Black market meds preferred. Doctor office visits were hard enough for me before everybody in the medical park looked like members of surgical teams.
