Being back on your meds will really help you out. maybe your therapist can help you with coping skills, they do take practice but doing them evry day will help you through before you get to that melt down. I know and understand how hard it is, i seem to melt down about every 3 months so you are not alone lovie.

My anxiety was successfully treated last May after over 40 years of frequent anxiety attacks (thank God!) but looking back, I realize I forced myself to do so many things that were incredibly stressful instead of just saying, "that won't work for me."
Since I've gotten past the anxiety (I had low folate levels and a mutation in the MTHFR gene), I realize that when most people feel that level of anxiety they'll take a break or refuse to continue doing whatever they feel caused the anxiety. A lot of us try to power through it. So, a "melt down" makes perfect sense. It's your body taking care of you.
I'm glad you took a day off and that you're talking with a therapist. Be gentle with yourself. You're managing a lot and it sounds like you're doing an amazing job of coping with a heavy load.
