My youngest brother and his daughter went to California on vacation. His wife won't fly. Even though my best friend and I were mad at each other, we kept our plans to go to community yard sales together. We found great stuff, so cheap! I found a brand new California hoodie for my niece for $1. I dropped it off last night but she wasn't home. At one yard sale, I wasn't paying attention to the coats that were $2 each but my best friend called my attention to a beautiful suede coat that looked to be my size. I grabbed it! We must have gone to 40 or 50 yard sales! My last purchase was a beautiful glass plate for $2. I don't think that it is crystal but it has that look with pretty flowers. I love it! To make matters even better, the weather was gorgeous! That was on Saturday. On Friday, I stopped at 2 yard sales. I got a great area rug for my kitchen for $1! So fall yard sales are coming up! Check the local websites and get yourself to some yard sales!
