Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
Like lovnmthrhd said, I knew as long as I was breathing that I would be okay no matter what happened, but that didn't mean I was going to try to make myself be strong at a time in my life when I was perfectly entitled to be weak. We aren't all Jackie Kennedy, you know?
Once things settle down, then you can worry about digging deep and building your strength back up. But I am a firm believer in letting negative emotions out and feeling the complete pain in every traumatic situation, because to me, that is the only way to be able to let it go at some point and move on.
Panic attacks are different....they aren't real. They are our imagination. I do not believe in EVER showing weakness during a panic attack. But right now, this is a perfect example of a time in your life when you have every right to let go of your strength for a while and let other people take care of you when they can.
I hope your husband gets to come home soon!
You are far stronger than you can imagine but you do have a load and you need support and people with you. You have a ton on your plate and I just noticed you have fibromyalgia too. I have fibro too and it is horrible and I understand how difficult it is. and stress and worry isn't good for us not one bit.
Are you taking anything for the anxiety?
Have you Seen a doctor to help you through this trying time. doctor can give you something to help handle the stress.
I don't think I could handle what you are going through without taking medication. It is a heavy load.
You are not wrong. not wrong at all. I am feeling a little guilty because the other day I mentioned about keeping strong for your kids but the thing is you are strong. I cannot imagine the stress you are going through and dealing with physical problems too with the fibromyalgia.
You have my support and I want to encourage you that you are doing an amazing job.
Please see a doctor if you can and tell them about this stress you are under. i think under these kinds of circumstances is when medications can be a lifesaver.
I am thinking of you and your family.
