Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...

i have had generalized anxiety and social anxiety for about three years now. but now, my anxiety is so constant that its there twenty four hours a day, im always afraid of something happening. even if im sitting in my own room, im scared of my family and friends and i have constant fear over the future. im 14 and im going to be 15 in a few months and im really sick of not being able to live like a normal teenager. i have one friend and i dont even trust her fully to tell her anything, on top of that i always feel annoying. i go to two therapists, one every other week and while my depression has lessened to random pop ups throughout the day, my anxiety has gotten much stronger. and i would 100% honestly take my depression over my anxiety anyday. my mom really likes to blame the fact i have such bad anxiety on me, as if i could help it or i want to have it. its exhausting and all i do anymore is watch youtube, read, and leave to go to hour long appointments every week. with school starting back up my anxiety is so extreme that even thinking of stepping into school makes me go into an attack. im just really sick of living my teenage years like this, and im sick of being alone all the time.

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.

"don't be a hate hole" has been one of my recent mantras which seems to be escaping my mouth more and more often. it emerges when i am faced with the endless list of chores i would rather not deal with. insurance. head lice. bureaucracy. in-laws. the list goes on and on and on and on, ad infinitum.reality checks requested. am i making sense?"ever'thin they is but loving leaves a rust on your...

Have you been tested for the MTHFR gene mutation? Talk to your GP about getting that test. It interferes with vitamin B absorption and can give constant, ongoing, severe anxiety with no apparent cause. I suggest it because your anxiety is so extreme.
I think that would be your best first step. After that, overwhelming quantities of vitamins and good nutrition. You're going through growth and puberty. Hormonal shifts. Teenagers often don't eat anything like enough to keep themselves emotionally and or mentally stable.
After that - medication. I have no problem with medication. If you can't get relief from the first 2 options, then go for it. Anxiety is absolutely unbearable. it's torture. You need release, and you have to get it however you can get it.
all the best. xx
Best wishes!
