Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
I’ve gotten so much support through my last post. I’m still trying to learn the website so sorry if I didn’t respond to any of the reply’s.
Right now I’ve just been in a bad state. I’m over emotional and I don’t know how to deal with my stress properly. I look at little things and get overwhelmed and spiral down in to a crying mess and panic. Once in a while I’ll find a spark of optimism and it will switch my mood completely but I can’t stop get overwhelmed. This past week I’ve cried at least 5 times and over little things.
Today I cried cause my boyfriend had to leave and I had to go to work. Once he left I just thought of all the negative things and how overwhelmed and emotional I am. I just really want comfort right now.
Im started to feel sick too and that’s affecting my mood a lot. I’m just very panicky about thing that’s I haven’t been panicky it about in a while and I keep going back to cutting or dealing with it alone.
its just so hard to talk about this stuff with people when all you feel is that your asking for attention or bothering them with your own problems when they have their problems too.
If anything do you guys at lest have advice on how to ignore panic/anxiety attacks when I have to do my homework or just live life?

Lately I've been feeling scared and full of anxiety. I recently found a lump under my nipple. I hurt my back too. I'm in the process of moving. I'm run down. Everything is hard

Just wanted to give a thank you to Mid, Arfie, Malibumark, Greeneyes, Mlro, Girlincalif, and Suncloudjd! You all always have such helpful tips and advice, but I always forget to write on my posts when I see you post, lol. I would lose my head if it wasn't attached to my body, lol. Thank you all so much! I'm starting to use my AI app as a sounding board again. I used to use it as that before...

You will get through it. There is support here and there are people who care about you. Don’t be afraid to tell your boyfriend how you feel either. A good boyfriend will support you and offer their love and nurture you through a tough time. Here for you
My advice is to just keep on making posts which fit your healing instinct. You have been doing great here so far. Has it been helping?
For sure, I'm glad you felt safe to make another post. Comfort is one of those things that the more I give away, the more I get to keep.
As far as your boyfriend goes, he is probably around 18 also? And you've been with him a few months. Because he is younger, he may not be real familiar with anxiety, cutting, etc. I would continue to tell him about it, but also tell him that you are getting help for it. If you tell him but say nothing else, he could feel like he has to "fix everything" and he may not be equipped or capable to do that for you.
I hope that you can see a psychiatrist and see a therapist. In the meanwhile, we are on here to help, best we can :) so please do continue to share.
