General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...

My boyfriend of two years just broke up with me via email. We have been struggling and I have threatened to end this relationship in the past because of our issues as well. I never expected someone to do this to me in this manner. He was out of town and when we came back we were supposed to grab dinner. He sent me this email an hour before we were supposed to meet. He asked that I not contact him and that we will meet in person in a couple of weeks. He said he needed space. I know he does not do well with conflict. He told me in the last that we both seemed unhappy and he was partially doing this for my happiness. I believe this man really cares but why??????????? My anxiety has ruined this relationship and I hate myself!!!!! I over analyze every single thing and j am always fearing the worst. This is no way to love. I hate myself for ruining a relationship with a man I love so terribly much. I can't function because all I do is beat myself up. He treated me so well and tried to stick with me aside from all my issues and I just don't think he could handle it. I sent him so many emails trying to talk and I never heard back. I guess I should've respected him. I do nothing all day now after work besides sit and cry. This is no way to live but I don't know what to do. Therapy last night was not all helpful. He is constantly on my mind. I overanalyze every situation that may have caused this. My anxiety causes me to pressure people. Have any of you experienced this????? At a year and a half I wanted him to get his own place because I wanted a commitment from the relationship. He was not ready and I wish he would have just been upfront. I always begged for him to be honest because I never wanted him to feel like he was in sown thing he didn't want to be. I have made my mistakes and I have started seeking treatment but it's too late. I hate myself. I lost someone who cared about me tremendously. I don't get how he could do what he did when he knew how much pain and how low I was mentally. He is a weak person as well and I believe he suffers from depression. He can't stand conflict or to see others hurt. I think he thought he was helping me. I miss him so much. I hope he keeps his word! Until then I can't function. I haven't been to the gym in a week. I suffer from depression, ocd, anxiety and add. Why do I have so many issues? I'm not strong enough for this.

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.

"don't be a hate hole" has been one of my recent mantras which seems to be escaping my mouth more and more often. it emerges when i am faced with the endless list of chores i would rather not deal with. insurance. head lice. bureaucracy. in-laws. the list goes on and on and on and on, ad infinitum.reality checks requested. am i making sense?"ever'thin they is but loving leaves a rust on your...

Break-ups are normal with anxiety. That's common, simply because we can not be responsible for someone else's happiness, just our own. Finding a partner means finding you, inside the anxiety, and liking who you are, for you.
I've been married a long time now, and we have made a commitment to anxiety lessen situations to make our lives easier to manage. Prior to this marriage, I had break-ups, and it took a couple of long time friends to help me find me. Those break-ups made me stronger in my well-being, not quite the way I wanted or expected.
Grieve for the loss of what you had, let it go, and move forward, tears, shame, grief, anger, depression, self-pity, and give your self forgiveness.
Learning to love ourselves with all we know we are, means finding the good with the conditions we often see as different.
I know now to use my anxiety to take a pause, observe, and be gentle before I step forward into the unknown. Of course, I still have all the symptoms, I just use them to help me stay calm and focused in the moment.
Best wishes.
