Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
I have set up my own support group on facebook. The reason is I am keen to help others grow and recover.
I am a victim of violent crime, and have been abused by predators who are professionals in a position of trust (teachers and doctors). Many years later I'm diagnosed with Autism, and then I realise that these abusers have preyed on my vulnerability. (From their perspectives, as soon as they saw me, their minds told them, "Ah now here's an ideal person to abuse".)
I have learned a great deal from two therapists/psychologists in particular, and despite everything I've been through, such as over 20 years of PTSD, my abusers are much worse off than me. They are the ones with the utterly dark and terrible minds, who have destroyed their souls. They cannot run away from what they have done, and, have to bottle up what they have done to innocent victims. So their health gets damaged through bottling it all up.
Myself and other victims out there...... we still have our good souls, don't we?
Everything I have done in order to get on the right pathway to recovery (i.e. mind exercises/techniques and activities) I share in my Facebook group.
So if you have had trauma/abuse, and/or are struggling with PTSD/anxiety/depression, you are welcome to join my group!
Go onto FB and type in Transforming after Trauma.
Best wishes to you all :-)

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.

Best wishes to you, in return.
The group is not for giving out personal details or "airing" your problems at all. Members of my group don't do this.
I share activities/techniques we can pursue to help ourselves towards becoming healthier.
