Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...

I am hoping I find another job before my phone shuts off next month. Boss will not be in office today and she told the new girl I had stuff for her which I dont. So, it will be another day just sitting. Before the new girl got hired, there were days when I had nothing to do. Yes, many people might say it's good to have a job where they just pay me for doing nothing, but, I'm not like that. I need to be busy.
I have a phone call today from a job...I think it might be a scam but who knows what's real and what isnt anymore.
I'm feeling pessimistic this morning about everything really. Im hoping to tend to my flowers this weekend. Desert Rose is blooming again.

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

First, I hope everyone is doing well, and continuing to fight that good fight! Keep up the great work on yourselves; I'm rooting for all of you!So, I started doing therapy at the beginning of the year, when I was in my most depressed state, but with my therapist, I made big changes and steps in the right direction. But, over a month ago, she couldn't take my insurance anymore, and I had to stop...
I used to have to "sneak" apply for other jobs by doing it on my lunch hour, or coming into my current work late ("I have a flat tire!"). So take advantage of all of your free work time to apply for other jobs.
Be careful on that scam job today. I know the app called "Indeed" has job listings. Network around on LinkedIn. Which other places are you searching for jobs?
A lot of companies screen applicants by phone first, to whittle down the applicants that they invite to formally interview with the hiring manager.
But I agree about scams. Anything that feels too quick and easy, to good to be true, requires investigating. I look into every company I have ever applied that is not a well known company. What happened with the recruiter you engaged?
I get that being bored at work gets weary. It makes me restless. For now, you could take the initiative and ask your boss if anyone needs help with anything. Or ask your coworkers if there is anything you can assist with. I don’t have a lot of down time at work but when I try to see if anyone needs help.
Otherwise, yeah just start applying. Or think about creating a LinkedIn profile with your experience. Companies sometimes will contact you about openings. Plus LinkedIn also lists job openings.
The times people have been willing to pay me for doing nothing actually worked for me when the bosses let me bring in my own projects to work on. Language study was my personal fave. I've known other folks who have earned college degrees while getting paid for doing nothing. I know another lady who started an on-line jewelry business while she was getting paid to do nothing. Last I heard, around the turn of the millennium, her business was starting to turn a profit.
She likes the organization but is bored. She gets any and everything that she needs to do done and then, if she has extra time and nobody is around she pays her bills, reads and shops on line.
I do understand how hard it can be no having enough to do. That might throw me into a tailspin. Is there a work project that you could work on? Decorate the office? If you really hate it, I agree that looking for another job is important, but use this time to network etc...Good Luck
