Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...

Hello - I wanted to share something that I just watched (had recorded it) on OWN network). Oprah was interviewing the doctor who had a total left brain stroke - her book, "Stroke of Insight" came out a few years ago.
After listening to this interview, I was so inspired by the ability we have to direct our lives in the direction we want them to go. In fact, that was her core message. Now, I know we have intrusive thoughts and feelings, but the doctor said that if we would let go of the "story" around the emotion, all the chemicals, etc. from that emotion is out of the body in 90 seconds.
it's only our rehearing the past and connecting new events to "our version" of life that keeps us suffering.
When she lost the left hemisphere -only the right one was left functioning.
She couldn't form or understand language -she could intuit what people were communicating to her by their intonation and "energy" =either of love or fear. She is teaching her students now how important it is to communicate from the heart space when with another - we say one thing, but if it's not "true" and loving, the other person (even in a coma_ will know it.)
What Igot from this was, if she could totally relearn who she was (forgotten her complete identity and what she did, who her family was and had to relearn to speak, walk, etc. and THEN had to relearn her entire medical knowledge! )
Also, she said that there is only one tenth of 1% difference among all of us. That basically all of us are the same. So I kept thinking to myself, Gosh. if she could do that and not give up - what am I complaining about?
So, as I said in another post - (and she also emphasized the importance of feeling gratitude ) "look for what's good, and praise it!"
Just as we made a habit of looking at the dark side of life - we can mae it a habit of finding something to be grateful for each day. Oprah said she writes down three things.before she goes to sleep, that she was grateful that day. Sounds like a good practice to me!
Many blessings,
Purrs

Yes yes I have had anxiety for about 15 years but I had a out of body experince this past year that changed my way of thinking. It was a total absense of God we dont know what that feels like any of us because He is now afer the crucficyion born with us in our hearts. It was terrible on so many levels. So please do not worry we are all in the hands of God and cant fall out unless we jump so dont jump. I am here for you anytime and will talk about anything you want or need for me toso please call on me anyttime you want :-) Jim

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
