I have finally went to the dentist, it was bad. I am not currently taking meds for my attacks, we are still trying to find one that helps but anyway. I had a bad attack when she put the napkin thing on me and I got up and started pacing. She just helped me breathe and calm down enough to take xrays. The dentist then came in and looked, I have been having some jaw pain and I found out I have two infected teeth that are hitting the nerves from decay. I am to go through surgery for that and of course he gave me an anitbody for now, no pain killers. I am having bad pain and taking pain reliever and trying to get through it. I decided to call ask a nurse and right away she said heart attack I was like no tmj and infection. So now I am just panicky I can't calm down. I was doing good but now the tightness in my chest is back and of course my jaw hurts. I am not having a good month. I have to use my son's laptop until, myhard drive gets here. Please someone tell me it is gonna be ok.

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

Watching a good movie, calling a friend, writing here on DS or anything that gives you some comfort will help. I am not sure if you have been prescribed any anti-anxiety pills or not but if you feel comfortable in doing so give your doctor a call and explain what your are going through as they can give you something to help calm you down so you can rest and relax a bit.
I know for myself when things are so overwhelming and I feel out of control by my anxiety it really helps me to write things down almost like a letter to God this seems to help me get some of that anxiety out of my system not to mention some hot ginger tea as this soothes the tummy if you are feeling nauseated. It also helps to pamper yourself a bit like your folks might have did when you were sick as a child as this can also help you relax and calm down.
And last but not least I will say you WILL be ok this is just a rough spell you are going through and things will get better and very soon this infection will get cleared up and you will start to feel a whole lot better about everything. Hang in there and take a few deep breaths things will turn out just fine. Sending you lots of hugs:):)

One of the things that works to reduce the anxiety is to know the pain comes and goes.
Massage the face, the neck, behind the ears, to get the blood flow back to normal ( this will reduce the pressure on the nerve).
My fillings are coming loose and I am experiencing nerve and decay pain so I try the pain relievers, and the massages to help.
With the antibiotics, within twenty four hours, you should feel less intense pain.
Hang in there, you are not alone.
