Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...

my mental health is not in question. i'm loonier than a toon and need to run daily inventories to see how many fries short of a happy meal i am on any given day. angry thoughts are a major red alert in my own daily inventory. hold the presses and ply therapy tool, NOW. but then. . . my anger issues are intense enough to be a call for public safety measures. i monitor them closely.
but that is me and every case is unique. . .
gentle support while you sort your own case. listening, should you decide to sort a bit deeper. welcome aboard. you are not alone.
Excellent work for you to write it out!
Take time to relax and let your brain relax. That will help you sort out what is really making you feel so strongly about 'mistakes'.
Welcome to the anxiety board at DS community!
Now if your mouth is opening and you are spewing venom on people, I'd be more concerned. Our culture is more and more pushing people to judge other people all the time. We've become mean minded and hate filled way too much. So if you feel you are too judgmental, you can work on stopping this. Empathy and compassion are wonderful attributes to have.
Journaling every evening about how you feel might truly help. It can receive stress and anxiety as Mid wrote.
If you feel you need a mental health assessment, then I encourage you to seek this. It can be a very helpful thing to do. Best to you.
Chronic stress and anxiety will alter the brain a bit, anger is one thing that will happen. I am the same way with mistakes at work either by others or myself. Be kind to yourself, right now many others are heavily stressed and anxious at work like yourself. And take some days off if you can.
Who was the "someone" you were talking to? Do they have Human Resources skills? Or, was it just a friend you were venting to?
The reason I am asking these questions is that too often we don't like what we see at work as far as other people slacking off, or what we perceive that they are not doing their job properly. But in my work experience, the human resources department, or higher up management, the supervisors, the managers, etc..... That's their job to take care of this. They know if someone doesn't have the skills for the job, and they will handle it.
It depends how much this really bothers you.... enough to (probably) be okay with being uncomfortable around them, if you report these people?
I have worked jobs where I saw all kinds of slacking off, people not really working..... And, I just stayed out of it. I did my work, and went home. It wasn't my business to be reporting the other people. Especially if I liked my job and didn't want to cause waves. Not sure what kind of line of work you are in, so what I am writing may not apply to your situation. I needed the work, and the paycheck, and I just did my work and didn't cause waves (unless of course if I saw something illegal or harassment.... which I didn't).
This is all just my experience and my opinion. You do what you feel is best for you, and your mental well being at work.
