Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
I have heard there is a link between dehydration and anxiety. I'm just not good about drinking enough. If I run errands I'm terribly stressed and hurried so I don't always stop to get enough fluids and sometimes I forget to bring water. At work I just forget to drink. I think my brain signal to drink when I'm thirsty is broken. I have tried bringing other things to drink to entice myself but then I'm just drinking more sugar and I try to give myself to drink sugar substitutes but I really hate them so not sure that helps. I'm so thirsty at night that I end up drinking more at night and then I have to wake up and use the bathroom multiple times during the night which is not good for my sleep issues. Not sure if others experience this but I don't even like water sitting in my stomach or the feel of drinking it unless I'm really hot. I usually drink room temperature to help with that.

I was making so many strides and changes during therapy, my therapist would acknowledge all of my progress and accomplishments, and I miss that reassurance. Today I thought about it, and I made those changes! She would always tell me that I chose to...
but remembering to hydrate makes a huge diff in my own anxiety management. the relief is often immediate when i go for a glass of water instead of my co-worker's latest antics i share your discomfort with liquids on my stomach. the phenom seems to be getting worse as i age. i almost never drink cold drinks anymore. room temperature is much easier on my tum-tum. closer to my body temp?
I also get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. Try not drinking after a certain time. I usually cut it off after dinner.
Good luck.
I keep a bottle with me all the time.

water to work. You can also have other fluids. Jello, popsicles,
soup, juice, oranges. Drink a glass of water or ice tea with each
meal will help.
Arfie, exactly!
Tired, I do like soup for this reason. Now that it’s cooling off it’s time to start making soups again.
