Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...

I know what you men though, sometimes it's one step forward and two back. But you have to remember you got that confidence before you can get it again xo
You actually went and did the job. You didn't avoid it. It is great that you went for it. That is the thing to be proud of.
And if you can do 3 hours then the next time you maybe able to do 4 hours...and then maybe 5 hours. and on and on, your confidence will build.
Consider what you were thinking at the time you stopped after 3 hours, what triggered the anxiety. was it things you were thinking?
You don't suck at everything. There is always plenty of things you are good at.
You can use a computer because you are here on DS. so there you have it. You don't suck at everything.
You can type. See you can do that. Not everyone can type.
Not everyone knows how to use a computer....believe it or not.
You actually got given the off the books job, so obviously you are able to communicate your needs so you don't suck at that, the person must have liked you and thought you worthy enough to give you a chance.
As long as there are people out there willing to give you a chance then please don't give up trying. You will find the right job that will suit your needs. Don't ever give up. you get back on that horse and try again. Tell yourself some positive things. Begin to name all the things you are good at and all the things you can do and all your positive traits.
It can be something simple as you are good at making a nice meal. or you are good at fixing things...or you are good at helping people, or you are good at keeping your home tidy, or you are a good driver, or you are patient, kind, good with art, music,.............keep on seeing positive in yourself.
I understand about low confidence. Growing up I didn't receive a lot of positive affirmations and built up and felt very self conscious and low self esteem.
And over the years I have to try and be there for myself. It has Taken a long time to realize I have good qualities and I can do things and I am worth the effort.
We have to be there for ourselves and learn to be our own cheer leader and build ourselves up. Be kind to yourself and be a friend to yourself.
If a friend told you that they sucked at everything...what would you tell them? I am sure you would point out all their positive things. so try and do that for yourself.
All the best to you.
