Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
hello everyone... my name is ashley. Ive felt the need to reach out to anyone. I have issues with anxiety and often on edge. I have made recent life changes (changing my career). I left my corporate job for baking. I find my self ofter extremley over worked in everything I do and it really affects me. I like working but some how I end up with these jobs that over work me.
I just got into baking and I went through a lot with my family because I quit my corporate job. It was causing anxiety attacks because of the stress level - and after 5 years... I couldnt do it anymore. My family was reslly upset when they found out I quit and they just came to terms that I want something better for me. This new job in baking is fun... but I go home crawling from exhaustion and I just can't catch a break. It's only been three days and I'm finding myself in bed repeating positive affirmations to calm me down. I'm just so over my life being stressful as hell. I don't know what to do anymore.. I'm stuck, lost, sad and I feel so alone. I can't even tell my family cause they'll yell at me and tell me to "suck it up". I started skin picking again and I can't even afford a therapist right now. I just need a hug.

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.

Some days it helps. Other days I end up crying. I really want it to work. So I'm trying to just do the best I can. Not much else we could do. I know I'm harder on myself than how others view me and my work. As far as family I can't tell you how many times my husband has told me suck it up... I have a friend who lost their job and having hard time so I do try to remind myself to be grateful to have decent job. But it is mega stressful. Anyway hope we will both get over the hurdle. Take a deep breath and try to give it time. I know that is so difficult at times. Hang in there.
