Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...

Sigh. . . Well just it all! ! !
Going to workshops and group meetings is usually far more productive. Hope it works out so for you, as well. Steadying support while you find your focus.
I was in an anxiety group for 20 weeks, once a week. Was interesting experience.
Sorry to hear about your struggles. Praying for you for emotional healing and things will go well with you. Take care.
In my experience, it was only so-so. Everyone is on a different level of anxiety, so we all couldn't exactly relate to each other's difficulties. For example, some people have a minor anxiety, some people have severe anxiety. And those two would not relate to each other much.
It was an interesting experience, but I don't talk to any of the people from the group anymore (even though it was encouraged that we stay in touch) and that was 4 years ago.
Sorry for like the 2 week late reply... I kind of had a lot on my plate that day and currently (it's close to the end of the semester... so I'm a tad bit more stressed than usual. So this support group kind of wasn't one? It was more of a workshop now that I got it explained a little better. It ended up being only a 2 week workshop where they kind of taught us some coping mechanisms to try to use when we feel like we are disassociating? (Breathing exercises) and some other mechanisms to use when we are feeling anxious. They tried teaching us some mindfulness? (Meditation.) I mean I found it a little helpful but not as much as I wanted it to be? I meantioned it to my counselor though so I'm still going to see them periodcally. But yeah...
Keep trying, keep practicing. It can be hard.... but your anxiety will get better. Good job!!
